Let us tell you how we met James Thew. Like our friends Sue and Clive we were unhappy with the Park on which our mobile-home was pitched, though the heart of the Loire Valley is delightful. We accompanied them on a visit to inspect some new parks in the Vendee, with little expectation of success, because changing static caravan sites can be more difficult than starting afresh, and we had already spent some years travelling round France looking for an alternative.
James Thew is extremely knowledgeable about most aspects of the mobile-home business from manufacturing, through selling to his present speciality of helping people to find the right location, and / or mobile-home for them, and assisting where required with relocation. He lives in France with the French mother of his little girl and is an excellent French linguist. Nothing is too much trouble for him and he has a good rapport with many site owners and managers.
To cut a long story short he found us a delightful site overlooking a lake, seven minutes walk from a peaceful village with bakery, alimentation, bar and garage, and a short bike ride to a medieval chateau and restaurants, and just six or seven minutes drive to a large supermarket etc and twenty minutes drive to St Gilles- Croix-de-Vie on the coast. In less than a month we had completed the move with James' hands-on help (EMails and Phone calls). He even helped us sort out our French finance company and Insurance which were not his problems, because we were customers of the new French camp site owner. He was able to resolve many matters for us with the site owner.
