Siting, Installation & Commissioning

Our installation partners are specialists and highly professional. Their unique experience with large tour operators, individual parks and retail customers along with their unwillingness to provide less than perfection ensures the best for your home.
Equipment
State of the art lifting and levelling equipment treats your property with care and respect. Low clearance, high capacity air jacks allow units of any size to be installed to any height specified. No stress or twisting is applied to the home. Incorrect lifting is a common cause of damaged chassis and can badly affect the longevity of the park home.
Long, trouble free support
Units are blocked at 12 points as standard. Full size, treated wood is sourced for each installation to combat settlement over time. Screw jacks are also used and centre support points are solid concrete blocks with treated timber packers. Steps are also supported with full pavers or bricks which are, where possible, buried to ground level to ensure the continued safety of the steps.
Safeguarding resale value
All blocking points are individually levelled and the very best materials used. This helps prevent internal problems and aids the resale value of the unit.
Service connection
Water feed pipes can be connected to any specification. We use WRAS approved products (double check valves / BS1010 fittings standard). All connections are soundness tested and neatly installed using high quality connections, support materials and pipe.
No expense spare on waste plumbing
The water drainage system is the part of an installation most often neglected even though it is probably the most likely source of future problems. ALL waste water and soil pipes are cut square and chamfered / bevelled then push fit fittings are lubricated with manufacturer recommended silicon spray. A full inventory of new spares are carried with each team to solve any problems or issue with missing parts properly and quickly.
The final touch is to support all pipes at no greater than 1m intervals with steel banding and heavy duty cable ties with special hangers and / or screws. Not a broken concrete block or brick in sight! This takes longer than the traditional method but it all ensures no leaks or sagging and a long lasting problem free job. It also makes it easy for maintenance teams to remove and re-install in case of future blockages or failed water seals. We also use black pvc pipe as standard. This looks fantastic when new and holds up better than other colours of pipe when exposed to sunlight.
Consideration for others
Where possible, water and electricity connection points are extended to the outside edge of the unit and inspection points fitted to give easier access for clients in an emergency and more regularly for service and maintenance staff. The same applies in reverse for waste pipes, we always try to direct pipes under the unit to make them as inconspicuous as possible.
